5m artificial ficus trees

We were approached by Blenheim Construction Ltd to supply and install two large artificial trees for the restaurant of the new HQ OF Raytheon UK at the Kao Business Park, Harlow.

After several telephone conferences with the architects they choose two of our stunning 5m artificial Ficus trees potted into 800mm custom made square fibreglass planters.

Our artificial Ficus trees are available in green or variegated foliage, Raytheon chose the lovely green and white variegated foliage, which gave a light and airy appearance to the large space they filled.

The artificial trees are handmade to order in the UK by our team of artificial plant experts. The trees are constructed using natural wood multi-stemmed trunks, each branch is covered in artificial ficus foliage by drilling a hole in the branch and gluing each piece in place until the tree takes shape and the canopy reaches approx 2m in diameter.

To make the artificial tree stable it is secured into a box of concrete approx 30cm square ready for potting into the final planter. We then potted these into the fibreglass planters using a combination of thick polystyrene and aggregate and a final finish of grey slate.

The planters are available in any RAL colour. They can be put on castors if required.
